OMC 2021 – Ravenna, Italy, 28-30 September

OMC Med Energy Conference 2021(as its 15th edition was known) was the first post-pandemic event attended by Allied Group after an enforced pause of over 18 months. Despite the covid effect resulting in there being fewer visitors from abroad, especially from the northern European countries that generally tend to be interested in offshore industries, 300 exhibitors from 25 nations and 23,400 visitors can still be considered a satisfactory result in the light of the current world health situation.
In Allied Group‘s case, attendance at OMC turned out yet again this year to be a great success, with many valuable visits to our stand both from clients and from new operators, with whom relationships likely to bear fruit were created.
Causing especial curiosity and interest was the introduction of Allied Group‘s latest acquisition: the Mandelli brand of mechatronic manufacturing using robotically controlled machining centres and flexible production systems with multitasking capabilities for mechanical parts, which are widely applicable to the oil & gas sector as well as the automobile and aerospace industries.
The next edition of OMC has already been scheduled for next year; from 2022, the Ravenna exhibition will be held annually instead of bi-annually.
