NAPEC 2016 – Algiers, Algeria, 8th-11th March

Allied International France took part for the 5th time at NAPEC (7th North African Petroleum Exhibition & Conferences), one of the largest international oil and gas trade fairs in North Africa dedicated to upstream, midstream and downstream sectors and also to product and service supplies for the oil and gas industry in North Africa.

This year was a good one despite the crisis in the oil and gas market: the number of exhibitors was stable, although we did notice an increase in Chinese exhibitors compared with previous years, as well as more local visitors with greater strategic decision-making powers aimed at establishing closer links with suppliers.

This year was a good year, the number of exhibitors and visitors is stable despite the oil and gas market crisis we are suffering, but if the number is same as previous years we noted a much bigger part of the Chinese exhibitors, and also more strategic decision level of local visitors during the exhibition to establish closer links with suppliers.

We of Allied Group were also able to have better-quality meetings with decision-makers.

We now hope that these new contacts will pave the way to valuable opportunities in the future, given that the Algerian Minister for Oil and Gas confirmed, while visiting the exhibition, that Algerian policy over the next few years will strive to make up for the drop in oil prices with faster decisions, slicker administrative procedures and an increase in production
