OMC 2017 – Ravenna, Italy, 29th-31th March

The 2017 Offshore Mediterranean Conference (OMC) took place in Pala De André once again on the 29th, 30th, and 31st of March.
The number of visitors (21,600) and exhibitors (635) confirmed the growth trend of the event, at this point having become a reference point on the horizon of all Oil and Gas operators.
OMC is particularly focused on the Offshore sector, reflecting the city of Ravenna’s history as one of the world’s major sites for offshore gas extraction.
This year also reconfirmed the strong bond of OMC with Egypt and the principal Egyptian EPCs, positioned again as previously in an area at the very center of the Conference. Additionally, Egyptian Minister of Petroleum & Mineral Resources Eng. Tarek El-Molla participated in the opening ceremony on the 29th of March.
Allied Group presented itself with an innovative, highly visually impactful stand, featuring specialty products for Offshore applications, a latest-generation touch screen that constantly captured visitors’ attention, and an area dedicated entirely to Egypt’s historic Zohr project, for which the Group has supplied a substantial amount of material.
