OMC 2023 – Ravenna, Italy, 24-26 October
Energy and innovation for a “just transition” was the driving idea behind OMC Med Energy, held from 24th to 26th October last, after the postponement due to the flood that affected Emilia-Romagna region and Ravenna territory. OMC MED Energy 2023, marking a significant milestone in its thirtieth year. The event’s success is evident in the numbers: over 14,000 attendees, more than 400 booths from 27 countries, and delegations from Cyprus, Lebanon, Algeria, Egypt, Mozambique, Iran, Malta, and Libya. The event featured distinguished participants in the four institutional panels, substantial contributions from the Italian government and the European Commission, 12 panels with stakeholders, experts, managers, and entrepreneurs, 18 technical sessions, and 26 commercial presentations.
There was also a lot of interest in the recent entry into Allied International Group by the new company Petrol Raccord. The integration of Petrol Raccord will enable the Allied Group to expand further its manufacturing range. With focus on stainless steel and special materials such as duplex, superduplex, 6-Moly and nickel alloys, Petrol Raccord will create additional value, increasing Group efficiency in the provision of complete project packages.
