TUBITALY 2015 – Piacenza, Italy, 20th-22nd May

Tubitaly is the trade fair dedicated to technology and solutions connected to the manufacture of fittings mainly for use in the energy sector. The exhibition was devised and organised from the start in the heart of Piacenza’s fittings manufacturing district, which is a well-known benchmark worldwide.

The event, the second edition of which took place from 20 to 22 May 2015 in the Piacenza Expo exhibition centre, was attended by important sector operators, including two delegations from Russia and sub-Saharan Africa, comprising entrepreneurs and managers of major energy companies and also representatives from national institutions in Russia, Kenya, South Africa and Nigeria.

Allied Group, which was present as an exhibitor, used the opportunity to show off two new products that were especially difficult to manufacture (a hot-forming thick-wall large-radius elbow and the prototype of a stainless steel small-radius elbow, both designed for the nuclear sector). It also consolidated its relationship with visiting client and suppliers and set up contacts with the foreign delegations, creating a basis for Russian and African projects in future.

The B2B context, combined with several pleasantly convivial moments, created a positive and favourable climate for potential business development. Allied Group
